A series of content for Amazon Music, announcing the new Alexa feature, ‘Artist Follow’. This feature allows you to get notified whenever your favorite artists drop new music – so we created a series of fun, informative content that stays authentic to each artist as well as Amazon’s brand.
Anderson .Paak teaches Alexa a few things...
One of the first challenges on this project was to find ways for these artists to ask Alexa to follow themselves. Not a common use case! But for Anderson .Paak, we were able to combine his forthcoming release as a story point which helped make it feel more natural - along with his joyful, engaged performance.
No, you're the Future.
In this version, Future didn't have new music to refer to - so we let Alexa take the lead and bring the humor.

As an easter egg, Amazon updated Alexa's responses to some of the artists' prompts - like "what do you know about Oxnard?" and "Alexa, you're the future".
